A brand new wine cellar was built in the (estate) Quinta de Santa Cristina, in Celorico de Basto, and already allows all curious and interested people to a visit.
The wine production begins by a careful grape selection and its transportation in proper pierced 20 kg boxes.
Concerning the red wine production, it is used the traditional method, stomped by foot in stone tanks.
For the rest of the range (white, rosé and sparkling) it is used an innovator process: a soft pressing with a pneumatic press and a fermentation in controlled temperatures and automatic control.
Concerning the lots, it is always made a careful selection.
